Aaron Kwok in tears while remembering his late mother
15 Apr - Aaron Kwok couldn't help but choked up when speaking about his mother during a recent premiere of his new movie, "Woof Woof Daddy" (also known as "My Dad is a Dog").
As reported on Epoch Times, the actor, who spoke to the audience at the premiere in Beijing, mentioned his mother, who passed away back in 2020, while sharing moments from the shooting of the family movie.
Aaron admitted that he was unable to see his mother for the last time as he was on tour in the United States at the time, and that he still deeply regrets this.
Halfway through the speech, he burst into tears, and finally said, "As long as you believe [that the person who left] will always be there, they will never leave you."
Also during the said premiere, the actor said that he considers himself "the daughters' slave", and that no matter how busy he is at work, he will always find some time to video chat with his two daughters.
"I hope to be there for them and that they can grow up healthy and happy," he said.
In "Woof Woof Daddy", Aaron plays a singer who dies and is reincarnated as a puppy, and sets out on a journey to find his daughter.
