Aaron Kwok says "Woof Woof Daddy" is meaningful to him

9 May - Aaron Kwok is truly happy to be able to work on a movie like "Woof Woof Daddy", now that he himself is a father of two daughters.

As reported on Mingpao, the Hong Kong star, who attended the promotional event of the new family movie, thanked the producer and the director for casting him in the type of role that is rarely offered to him.

"As an actor, I have filmed a lot of movies, and now that I have children, I want to take them to a movie that combines both live action and animation," he said. "This story tells the love between a father and his daughter, and it also has fantasy elements. I am sure you will be very happy after watching it."

When asked if his two daughters, Chantelle and Charlotte felt any jealousy watching him play father to the child actress Lan Yingying, Aaron smiled and said, "They are growing up and are not as jealous as they were a few years ago. They used to get angry and jealous when they saw me shoot commercials with children and think that the kids have taken their father away."

Aaron also said that the movie is about fatherly love and how children must grow up and can't hold their father's hand forever.

"To a certain extent, you have to learn to face life on your own. But no matter what, your father will always be there by your side and I want my daughters to see that as well," he added.
