Aaron Kwok happy to be nominated at HKFA

19 Feb – Aaron Kwok admitted that he is confident about his chance at the Hong Kong Film Awards, after recently been nominated in the Best Actor category.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who was nominated for his role in the Felix Chong film, "Project Gutenberg", shared that he is most thankful to his wife Moka Fang, who gave him her full support during the filming period.

"Our daughter wasn't born yet at the time, but she asked me to focus on the movie and not worry about her first pregnancy," he said.

Although he has won Best Actor before and is confident with his chances, Aaron said that such a thing could not be predicted as each awards have different judging standards.

"The most important thing is for the actor to have worked hard for their movie. I am already happy with the nomination. It is such an honour," he said.

It is noted that Aaron has also been nominated Best Actor for the said movie at the upcoming Asian Film Awards. He will be competing with tough contenders, including his own co-star, Chow Yun Fat.
