This week, for instance, it’s Madison Lace Sneaker has gone viral on TikTok.
One creator took to the app to show her shoes of the day after being stopped twice, telling her followers: “I bet when I say that they’re Dr. Scholl’s, that you’re like, ‘oh, she’s got on some nanny shoes.’ They’re not nanny shoes. They’re so cute and so comfortable.” The video has since garnered 1.7 million views and 800 comments over 48 hours.
The Madison Lace style, which currently retails for $70, is seen in white, with a blue chevron stitch and red accents, along with a gum sole.

The shoe is sustainable, too, with the linings and topcloth partially made from recycled plastic bottles, recycled toe box and heel counter. Plus, its anti-microbial, anti-odor insole technology has been crafted with 15% cushy, algae-infused BLOOM foam.
“Just raced to buy me some Dr. Scholl’s shoes,” one user commented on TikTok. “I have the all white pair and they are so comfy! But I am immediately influenced to get these too so cute,” another wrote.
This isn’t the first time a pair of Dr. Scholl’s has gone viral.
TikToker Meghan Pruitt went viral last year, after revealing her favorite shoe to wear while exploring new cities. She visited 12 different countries all over Europe and, according to her, she wore a pair of all-white Dr. Scholl’s Time Off platform sneakers “every single day.” The post received 2.7 million views.

Started in 1924 by Dr. William Scholl when he opened his first Comfort Foot Shop, the brand founder aimed to change the comfort footwear category entirely with the launch of his original wooden sandal in 1959. Since then the company has expanded its offering to include a range of silhouettes, from sneakers and loafers to heels and sandals.
To kick off 100 years, Dr. Scholl’s Shoes recently debut its first collaboration of the year with Free People. Next up, Dr. Scholl’s will launch a special collaboration with the late style icon Iris Apfel, who died in March at the age of 102. While major details of the collection are still under wraps, the range will consist of sandals, mules and the brand’s viral Time Off lace up sneaker.
