After Grid, Soundtrack #1, and Kiss Sixth Sense, Disney+ continues to expand the Korean shows offered on its platform.

Here are four Korean series that are currently airing on Disney+ or will soon greet the Disney+ audience. From BTS’ V and Park Seo-joon to Jisung and Seo Ji-hye to Lee Jong-suk and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona to Squid Game star Heo Sung-tae, these star-studded series will keep you busy for the rest of 2022.

1. In The Soop: Friendcation (now airing)

Park Seo-joon, Peakboy, Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyung-sik, and V, the well-known friend group of the entertainment industry, enjoy spending any time they get to have together. In the winter of 2022, a friend's surprise proposal sends them on a four-day friendcation to Goseong in Gangwon-do. Witness how they spend their time as they become their true selves together. In a story of friendship, this is a travel record of five friends who mean more than family.

2. Adamas (now airing)

Twin brothers Woo-sin (Jisung) and Soo-hyeon (Jisung) lost their father in a murder case twenty-two years ago.

Now a best-selling mystery novelist, Woo-sin finds out that the murder weapon that killed his father is a diamond arrow called “Adamas.” In order to get his hands on it, he enters the mansion of Kwon Jae-gyu (Lee Kyoung-young), the Chairman of Haesong Group, as a ghostwriter for his memoir.

Soo-hyeon, now the special prosecutor of the Central District Prosecutor's Office, meets Seo-hui (Lee Soo-kyung), a reporter who seeks to reveal the truth about the incident from twenty-two years ago. As he begins to question his father's death, Soo-hyeon reopens the case.

3. Big Mouth (releasing on 29 July)

Park Chang-ho (Lee Jong-suk) works as a lawyer with a measly 10 per cent winning rate. He is a talkative person nicknamed Big Mouth. He happens to get involved in a murder case and is somehow misunderstood as the genius swindler Big Mouse. As a result, he finds himself in a life-threatening situation.

His wife Go Mi-ho (Yoona) works as a nurse. She has a beautiful appearance and a personality that is both wise and brave. She helped her husband become a lawyer by supporting him financially and psychologically. When she learns that her husband is suspected to be the genius swindler Big Mouse, she attempts to clear his name.

4. Big Bet (to be released in the second half of 2022)

Big Bet tells the unforgettable tale of a man who struggles to become a casino mogul but soon after, he hits rock bottom due to a chain of unfortunate events. Determined not to let life beat him down yet again, the man risks everything he has, including his own life, to get himself back in the game.

Big Bet also features Son Seok-koo, a versatile genre-spanning actor who previously starred in My Liberation Notes, Romance Without Love, Be Melodramatic, and D.P., and who also recently made his directorial debut in Unframed; as well as Lee Dong-hwi, who brought his larger-than-life presence to Extreme Job, New Year Blues, Method Acting, and Pegasus Market; and Heo Sung-tae who starred in Beyond Evil and who quickly became a fan-favourite last year with his work in Squid Game.
