20th Century Fox TV Ups Lindsey Kasabian To VP Casting

Twentieth Century Fox Television has promoted Lindsey Kasabian to Vice President Casting, effective immediately. She reports to EVP President, Talent and Casting Sharon Klein.

Kasabian has risen through the ranks since joining 20th Century Fox TV nearly 10 years ago, beginning as an assistant and moving up from Coordinator to Manager to Director to Vice President. She serves as the studio’s primary casting executive on Showtime’s award winning Homeland, for which she helped identify and land stars Damian Lewis, Mandy Patinkin and Rupert Friend, as well as notable supporting players Nazanin Boniadi and Miranda Otto. She also supervises the casting of Hulu’s Chance, FX’s The Americans and Tyrant, USA’s Queen of the South and FBC’s upcoming thriller The Exorcist. She’s currently overseeing the Fox 21 TV Studios and Imagine Television anthology series Genius for National Geographic Channel, which will star Oscar winner Geoffrey Rush as the celebrated physicist Albert Einstein.

“Lindsey began as my assistant years ago and has consistently demonstrated an enthusiasm, creativity and talent for casting that’s undeniably impressive,” said Klein. “Showrunners from Alex Gansa to directors like Ron Howard rely on her judgement and trust her implicitly, and for good reason– she always delivers. She’s an incredibly valuable member of my team who has more than earned this promotion to Vice President.”
