2025 Best LEGO sets: F1, Harry Potter, Marvel & more
Hobbies come in many shapes and forms. Some people play video games or experiment with film photography. Others, like myself, collect LEGO sets. It has been terrible for my bank account. 2025 best LEGO sets include collaborations with F1, Harry Potter and Marvel.
The toy company is releasing intricate snapshots from these big IPs and gorgeous additions to classic LEGO collections. From scenic landscapes to 3-in-1 sets, these new LEGOs are certified must-haves.
1. Speed Champions F1 Race Cars from the 2024 Season
As an F1 and McLaren fan, I have way too many McLaren LEGOs for a reasonable human being. That includes 4 different McLaren variants from different series. Yeah, insane.
So, when I caught wind that more F1 LEGO sets were coming in 2025, I had to warn my friends to stop indulging me. Alas, it is simply too tempting. The F1 collaboration with LEGO will feature multiple new sets featuring all 10 F1 teams, ranging from small Duplos to an all-new LEGO Technic (which we will get to).
The one that has me waiting with bated breath is the F1 Speed Champions collection. This series of LEGO sets will feature every F1 2024 race car. It will showcase the team’s 2024 livery with a minifigure dressed in a race suit and matching helmet. It is an F1 fan’s absolute dream!
These sets will arrive on 1 Mar 2025.
Specifications:
Name of Set: LEGO F1 Speed Champions

I’m sure the Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes cars will fly off the shelves. So, if you want a LEGO set from these top teams, pre-order them now for S$43.90 at LEGO.
2. LEGO Technic Ferrari SF-24 and Red Bull RB20
The F1 collaboration with LEGO has actually been ongoing for quite a while. However, they only featured either Mercedes or McLaren cars. The most recognisable sets from previous years were their LEGO Technic cars.
The LEGO Technic McLaren MCL35 (S$231.09) and the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance (S$251.09) are remarkable pieces and have become dream collector’s items for fans of both teams.
This year is Ferrari and Red Bull’s turn.
The Ferrari SF-24 Formula 1 Car and Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1 Car are realistic 1:8 scale models. They are absolute behemoths with 1,361 and 1,639 pieces respectively. The precision of the designs is mind-blowing, including replicas of the 2-speed gearbox and V6 engine. Other details include a functional suspension, steering and an adjustable spoiler.
These sets will arrive on 1 Mar 2025.

3. Captain America: Civil War Action Battle
Despite the dwindling quality of their movies, Marvel LEGO sets remain awesome. The LEGO Avengers Tower (S$629.90) is a particular dream set of mine.
The Marvel sets capture iconic scenes from the franchise and renditions of their biggest heroes in all their glory.
This particular set depicts the battle scene at the end of Captain America: Civil War (2016). Iron Man and Captain America can be seen duking it out as the main players in the conflict. They are accompanied by Spider-man, Falcon, Black Widow, Wanda Maximoff, Black Panther, Winter Soldier and a super-sized Ant-man.
The set is beautifully detailed, with pieces showing Iron Man’s blasters and Wanda’s magic. Other cool features of the set are the Quinjet and the little fires spread across the area to show the intensity of the battle.

4. Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor
Since her debut in the animated Clone Wars (2008) film, Star Wars fans have been looking forward to a live-action Ahsoka. In 2023, their wish was granted. Despite the mixed reviews, many long-time fans had a good time with it.
For instance, fans loved the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. He was de-aged for the show and had a beautiful comeback performance. This is a relief for fans after the online joke that the Star Wars prequels have become.
The Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor set features a detailed replica of the starship from the show with minifigures of Ahsoka, Anakin and R7-A7. Ahsoka and Anakin are both equipped with their lightsabers. Adorably, the ship also features a designated spot for the droid to sit.
The coolest parts of this set are the 2 spring-loaded shooters. You can load the Interceptor’s blasters and shoot LEGO beams out of it. Isn’t that sick?

5. Grogu with Hover Pram
Yes, he has a name and it’s not actually “Baby Yoda”.
Since the release of The Mandalorian on Disney+, the adorable Grogu has become a fan favourite. Season 1 starts with him being transported by the Mandalorian (Mando, for short). Mando ends up protecting him from various intergalactic forces. As the series progressed, the two developed a father-son-type bond, winning the hearts of many fans.
The Grogu with Hover Pram set features a detailed and movable Grogu figurine. You can adjust his ears and head along with his hands. The hover pram is a floating transportation device that was used by Mando to transport Grogu across the galaxy. It sits on a platform to imitate the floating effect. Other little accessories include a Sorgan frog, a shifter knob and a little mock hologram showing personal facts about Grogu.
My absolute favourite detail from this set is the little blue cookies that you can put in Grogu’s hands, as is in the show. Truly, the cutest.

6. Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face and The Joker
Other than the Caped Crusader himself, the most recognisable element of the Batman franchise is the Batmobile. There have been multiple versions of it since its debut in Detective Comics #27.
Whether it be the roadster from the “One Year Later” era or the sleek customised Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision GT in Justice League (2017), the Batmobile is a loyal companion by Batman’s side.
The Batman Tumbler vs Two-Face and The Joker set is taken from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight (2008). The Batmobile itself is gorgeous with its classic military tank design and intricate detailing. There are also minifigures of Batman, The Joker and Two-Face, each with a designated accessory: Batman’s Batarang, Joker’s dollar bill and Two-Face’s iconic silver coin.
Quick disclaimer: the Bat Signal does not light up. Sorry to disappoint. Regardless, this set looks like a fun time.

7. Malfoy Manor
When I found out that Harry Potter would be getting a television remake, I sighed. At that moment, I chose to think back to the glory days of this franchise.
I grew up loving the Harry Potter books and films. It was what got me into reading in the first place. Harry Potter taught me the beauty of fantasy as a genre and what escapism felt like. Truly, I have a soft spot for this franchise.
This is why I chose to feature 2 sets.
The first set is Malfoy Manor with a scene that hails directly from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010). It happens right after Harry, Ron and Hermione get captured by the Snatchers. The piece has multiple moving pieces which allow for dynamic poses and scenes to be re-enacted.
The house itself has multiple features including the drawing room with a falling chandelier and Draco’s bedroom. The green and silver of the house reflect the Malfoys’ legacy as Slytherin students – most of whom are villains in the series.

8. Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops
The second Harry Potter set I’m choosing to feature is the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops. Personally, I find this one to be the more exciting one of the two.
For context, Diagon Alley is Harry’s first physical introduction to the Wizarding world. It is where he gets his wand and gets his beloved owl, Hedwig. Seeing the world through Harry’s eyes for the first time, you are as bewitched as he is – no pun intended.
It is a finely detailed set featuring 3D replica buildings. This includes Gringotts Wizarding Bank, the Leaky Cauldron and Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, the joke shop that Fred and George opened.
The street can be displayed as a single alleyway, in its full length or bent where the two sides meet at the bank. The set includes the Knight Bus and a whopping 12 microfigures.

9. Typewriter with Flowers (3-in-1)
Now, we move on to the non-IP sets. These last few items are LEGO exclusive series with various stunning designs.
The Typewriter with Flowers set is from the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 series. It is one of many aesthetic typewriters that LEGO has in store for collectors. Other beautiful typewriter sets include the LEGO Ideas Typewriter (S$359.99).
This set features a mini typewriter with 3 different flowers sprouting out of it. The keys are functional so you can have fun pretending to type on them.
The set is also a 3-in-1 which means that the typewriter is rebuildable. You can transform it into a keytar on a stand with flowers or a flowerpot, pen and notebook. With all 3 of these builds, you get a set that works beautifully as home decor.
Note: You cannot complete more than 1 set simultaneously because all 3 designs use the same pieces. Otherwise, enjoy!

10. Medieval Dragon (3-in-1)
Yes, they have dragons. I was thrilled to find out that they had this in store.
As you may know by now, I love fantasy. I miss those good old fairytale stories where a knight saves the damsel from a dragon. This trope has to make a comeback with all its grand romantic gestures.
With that, this set has officially been included in my LEGO wish list.
The Medieval Dragon set features a classic green dragon with red jaw spikes on its head and red wings. The detailing is insane with a lighter green for the dragon’s underbelly and yellow accents for the claws, horns and teeth.
It also has a high play factor. The limbs, shoulders and jaw are adjustable and there’s a little treasure chest for the dragon to protect.
This set is also a 3-in-1. It can be transformed into 2 other mythological creatures: a sea serpent and a phoenix. The serpent can be adorned menacingly with beaded eyes and the phoenix can be posed perching high on a stand, overlooking the plains.
Note: You cannot complete more than 1 set simultaneously because all 3 designs use the same pieces. Otherwise, enjoy!

11. Fountain Garden
If you are a hobbyist who wants to use LEGO as decor for your home, the LEGO Icons sets are the best fit for you. They’re all intricately designed with a gorgeous aesthetic. It can really add some life and vibrancy to your home. If nothing else, it makes a good conversation starter for guests.
These last 2 sets will be taken from the LEGO Icons collection.
The first one is the Fountain Garden set. This is a perfect set for those who wish to have a garden but lack the skills to maintain one. It features multiple different flowers like white petunias, red hibiscus and pink bougainvillaea. At the very centre, a tiered fountain sits and paints a tableau of cascading water.
3 animal figures can be found: a bird, a frog and a luna moth. These figures add life to the set, creating a biodiverse environment with both flora and fauna.

12. Leonardo da Vinci’s Flying Machine
Last, but not least is Leonardo da Vinci’s Flying Machine. Okay, this is coming a bit out of left field so let’s have a quick history lesson.
Other than being an artist, Da Vinci had scholarly interests including aviation and human anatomy. It is what made his art so captivating. One of the concepts he explored was the creation of a flying apparatus. The artist had studied the way birds fly and used it to design an early version of the ornithopter.
Read more about Da Vinci’s fascinating studies here.
You can see where Da Vinci drew his inspiration from based on the shape of the wings and tail. This LEGO set makes beautiful decor for fans of the artist, or those who are simply fascinated by aviation. A LEGO stand is also included to make displaying it easier.
Beyond the aesthetic, the piece works well as a toy. The wings of the ornithopter are functional. You can flap them using an intricate pulley system made of strings and hinges. Along with the grand masterpiece, you get an adorable minifigure of Mr. Da Vinci himself.
