To celebrate National Day, McDonald’s has once again launched burgers with a local twist.
These include the Satay Beef Burger and Satay Chicken Burger (S$8.90 for a meal), with cucumber slices, onions, and satay peanut sauce, nestled in sesame buns. 7. Takagi Ramen – Milk Tea & Ramen with Cockles
Takagi Ramen recently launched a bizarre limited-time menu: Salted Cheese Milk Tea with Pickled Cockles (S$4.90) and Sengkang Ramen with Raw Cockles (S$7.90).
The beverage has tapioca pearls replaced with shoyu-marinated pickled cockles, while the dish is based on their classic 12-hour-boiled tonkatsu ramen. The main difference for the latter is the addition of a pile of fresh, shucked cockles topped with Thai chilli sauce.

Inspired by the flavours that locals love, Baristart Coffee Singapore will be launching the Coco Chendol Cream Puff (starting from S$7) from 1 to 31 Aug. It will be available for dine-in and takeaway at Tras Street, Wisma Atria and Baristart Coffee’s delivery platforms.
