Its CBD Set Lunch (S$55 for two courses, S$62 for three courses) allows you to pick between appetisers, main courses and desserts.
Highly recommended dishes include the Scallop & Hamachi Tartare (+S$10), a delightful appetiser that pairs scallops and hamachi tartare with ajo blanco sauce, almonds, pickled grapes and Avruga caviar.
Main courses cater to both vegans and meat lovers, with options including the meat-free Quinoa “Falafel” and Angus Beef Striploin (+S$14), the latter of which is made up of a whopping 200g beef striploin covered in Artemis’ steak rub and accompanied by chimichurri, rocket and parmesan salad.

2. 13% Wine Bistro
Hidden in plain sight along Telok Ayer is a quaint but well-loved wine bar, 13% Wine Bistro. It’s located on the second floor of a historical Peranakan shophouse, and if you look hard enough, you might just spot it thanks to its iconic large white balloon on the second level.
While most folks come here for its extensive wine list, which spans an impressive 16 pages on its menu, its Lunch Menu allows you to pick from eight mains such as Steak Frites (S$28) and 13% Duck Confit (S$23).
To sweeten the lunch deal, each main course will come with a complimentary Veggie Dip, and if you’re looking to pair your meal with a glass of wine, you’ll only need to top up S$10 per glass.
Note that 13% Wine Bistro’s lunch menu is only available from Mondays to Fridays, from 12pm to 3pm.

Eclectic and vibrant, Folks Collective is a great place to head to if you’re craving authentic and comforting Thai food.
Its Cross Street Exchange outlet is inspired by a Bangkok night market that grew out of an abandoned railway station, so you’ll spot intriguing details in every corner— an apothecary wall, salvaged train carriage benches, floor-to-ceiling posters and so much more.
It has four Lunch Sets which are available from Mondays to Fridays (11am – 3pm).

It’s been about a year since The Feather Blade moved into its new Tanjong Pagar home, and its popularity as one the most value-for-money steakhouses in Singapore is undeniable.

Also located along Boon Tat Street in Telok Ayer is Tandoori Culture, a hidden gem in the CBD with authentic North Indian food.
It was set up in 2015 by Mr. Chandradev Kumar and Mr. Gilbert Rego, and collectively, they have about 40 years of F&B experience between them.
Their Lunch Menu is available from Mondays to Fridays (11.30am – 3pm), and the one thing you should consider going for are its sets, which start from S$10.
Pick between crowd favourites such as the Chicken Meal (S$13), which includes the chicken of choice for the day, vegetables, dhal, rice, naan or roti, and papad, or the Chole Bhature (S$10), featuring hot and fluffy puffed bread served with chole. For a fuller meal, you can try its Biryani Meal (S$10 for veggie, S$11 for chicken, S$12 for mutton).

With nothing but a lit-up logo of a dumpling, you’ll probably notice Dumpling Darling by the crowd rather than anything else. This inconspicuous restaurant, located on Amoy Street, is opened by the same people behind Lola’s Cafe, and offers a variety of noodles and dumplings with unique flavours.

You’ll find 40-seater Kan Sushi on the second floor of International Plaza, and its cosy ambience is fantastic if you’re looking for a quiet yet excellent meal. Plus, you know it’s a true sign of an omakase restaurant’s authenticity when most of its chefs and customers themselves are Japanese.

Just a five-minute stroll away from Tanjong Pagar MRT station is Fat Prince, a modern Middle Eastern restaurant.

Established in 2008, Kko Kko Na Ra claims to be one of the first few to bring Korean fried chicken into Singapore. Whether or not that’s true, there must be a reason why its Korean fried chicken is so popular that this place is often packed to the brim.
Available exclusively during lunch are set meals such as its popular Soy Garlic Fried Chicken (4 pieces) (S$15), Original (S$15), Yam Nyum (S$18), Spicy Garlic (S$18), Honey Shiok (S$20), Mala (S$26) and Cheese Sprinkle (S$28). All fried chicken set meals come with rice and salad or fries.
