Said to sell over 4,000 products from fresh goods to snacks to condiments, each Shine Korea outlet is the go-to spot for anything Korean. This Korean supermarket is clearly one of the top picks and also one of the most accessible with a total of 12 outlets across Singapore.
Having visited the GR.ID Mall outlet, I was pretty impressed with the selection there. Just as you glide across one aisle, there’s another next to it offering even more hard-to-get Korean goodies.
This is the must-come place if you require any ingredients from your Korean recipe. Rare items I’d never seen before like Wheat Noodles (S$3.40), Mild Ssamjang Paste (S$3.20), and even Korean Sweet Pancake (S$4.70) were available.
Specifically, I was amazed that Buldak Hot Chicken Carbonara Gyoza (S$6.90) was actually a thing. For 40 to 44 pieces per bag, it’s really getting bang for your buck.
