10 best hotel buffets in Singapore worth their price
Are you really a Singaporean foodie if you aren’t a buffet-tarian? Yes, that’s a word I just conjured up but it’s nothing next to the imaginative creations waiting to greet you at the best hotel buffets in Singapore.
With self-service back on the menu, you should lose the belt, slip into your most comfortable walking shoes, and head on down to these 10 hotels.
1. Estate Restaurant (Hilton Singapore Orchard)
Hilton Singapore Orchard describes its buffet selection as a gourmet upgrade to classic regional dishes and I couldn’t agree more. There is no doubt about the freshness and quality of the ingredients but they are given a new dimension entirely in the way they are transformed into irresistible dishes by the talented chefs here.
The Lunch Buffet lets you choose from a Raw & Seafood Kitchen, Salad Bar, Soups, Western & Grill Kitchen, Noodle Kitchen, Dim Sum, Wok, Fry & Premium Barbecue Kitchen, and Desserts. The Dinner Buffet is very similar but emphasises on Skewers at the Grill station, adds a Meats station, and tacks on Wraps alongside the Noodle stop.

2. Greenhouse (Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore)
The Greenhouse at Dusit Thani Singapore is the perfect encapsulation of ‘come for the gorgeous views, stay for excellent food’. The lush forest-themed restaurant looks over the vast expanse of the Masters Course while diners enjoy a curated selection from their Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Mediterranean and Indian (available only for dinner) kitchens.
Despite the wide selection, high quality and virtually peerless location, Greenhouse is one of the most affordable hotel buffet options for lunch and dinner in Singapore.

Takeaway buffet? Yes, please! That’s just one of the unique features of dining at Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. Adept at enticing scrupulous diners with ingenious creativity, it has pulled out all the stops with its latest halal buffet spread of over 40 dishes.

4. Alley on 25 (Andaz Singapore)
For something not quite the ordinary buffet, consider Andaz Singapore‘s Weekend & Public Holiday Lazy Breakfast (S$59). Instead of the usual set of dishes that you would find at virtually every other buffet, the focus here is, as the name plainly says, the lazy breakfast.
The food is divided into Continental and Mains. The former features Cold Cuts, Cheese Platter, cereal, Acai Bowl and more. From the latter, you can opt for an insane range of egg preparations as well as a large Seafood range that includes poached prawn, half-shell scallop, mussel and ponzu sauce.
If you are feeling especially lazy, get a free flow of sparkling, soft drinks, wine and beer (S$49).

5. Beach Road Kitchen (JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach)
Beach Road Kitchen lives by its motto of savour culture by the forkful and you can put this into practice with their premium seafood-focused buffets.
Ease yourself into your meal with Antipasti that includes Baked Sweet Potato Salad with Pomegranate and Cranberry, Asian Cucumber Salad with Marinated Octopus, Szechuan-style Marinated Lotus Root with Tiger Prawns, Marinated Tomato Salad with Tamarind Dressing, Compressed Watermelon Salad with Feta and Mint, and Tuscan Kale Panzanella with Calamari.
Freshly shucked oysters are available daily for lunch, Sunday brunch and dinner. If you like the sound (and taste!) of Charcoal Grilled Seafood, there is enough Grilled Shellfish (Flower Crab and Tiger Prawns) as well as Charcoal Grilled catch of the day (fresh grilled fish served whole). Every Singaporean will go for the Signature Chilli Crab.
During brunch, there are 13 varieties of fresh Seafood on Ice, including Manila Clam, Lobster Claw, Sea Whelk, Tiger Prawn, Snow Crab, Black Mussel, Flower Crab, Lobster, Scallop and Seasonal Oysters.
Fans of Sashimi can savour Salmon, Tuna and Tako (octopus), as well as an assortment of Sushi from the temperature-controlled Cold Seafood Room. There are 2 House Cured Salmon varieties to sample: Apple Wood Smoked Salmon and Cured Thai Style Salmon, both known for their wonderful smoky aromas.
Wander over to the Oven Baked counter for your fill of pizza from a choice of Signature Funghi Formaggio, Quattro Formaggi, Pepperoni and Margherita. There is also Seafood Mac and Cheese, Seafood Lasagne, Salmon Wellington and Oven Roasted Leg of Lamb.
They also have an Asian Delights section with local favourites Singapore Lobster Claw Laksa and Pork Char Siew Noodle. Roasted Duck, Pork, Chicken and Pork Char Siew are your options at the Chinese Roast counter.

6. The Orchard Cafe (The Orchard Hotel Singapore)
The Orchard Cafe’s Butcher Feast is exactly what the name suggests— a meat lover’s extravaganza. There are 6 carvings daily, with Prime Ribs Roasted Wagyu, Slow Roast Lamb, Whiskey Glazed Iberico Pork Belly, Indonesian Spiced Fried Chicken, US Prime Ribs and more on the menu.
From the Charcoal Grill comes wafting the mouthwatering aroma of fish, prawn, squid and satay as they sizzle over the heat.
Who would say no to Udang Masak Lemak Nenas, Ayam Masak Kicap and Sambal Steamed Okra from the Malay section, especially when they are accompanied by Asian Crackers and a variety of Homemade Sambal.

7. Asian Market Cafe (Fairmont Singapore)
The rather plainly named Asian Market Cafe is anything but plain with its buffet spread. With a good seafood station, a Japanese corner I thoroughly enjoyed, and a range of popular Middle Eastern options, it is a firm contender for an enjoyable meal out.
Others may appreciate the fine tipples but my eye was immediately drawn to the Milo Dinosaur beverage option. If nothing else, that addition to the menu tells you all you need to know about its local focus.

8. Melt Café (Mandarin Oriental)
A buffet restaurant where the patisserie takes centre stage? Count me in! Melt Cafe at the Mandarin Oriental is a melting pot of cultures and cuisines situated in a light-filled, airy setting where the views from the floor to ceiling windows compete with the beautiful spread.
Their extensive buffet presentations are divided into Seafood Colosseum, Japanese Platter, Asian Delights, European Delights, BBQ@The Alfresco, Indian Delight, Pastry & Sweet Endings and more.

9. Colony (The Ritz-Carlton)
Colony may be billed by The Ritz-Carlton as ‘A true taste of Singapore’ but its buffet spread is decidedly international as well. In the mood to really splurge? No, I mean really splurge? The Vintage Champagne Brunch (S$798) available only on Sundays may be value for money with its free flow of Cristal 2013.
I have to add that the Ritz-Carlton experience anywhere in the world is a step above, and the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is no exception. Their Seafood Dinner (S$108) is my personal recommendation.

10. Landmark Restaurant (Village Hotel Bugis)
While not the most extensive on our list, the Landmark Restaurant‘s buffet is nothing to sneeze at. Their halal spread features a delectable spread selected from the best of International, Local Delights, Western, Seafood and Indian cuisines.
However, the focus is decidedly local as the Goreng-Goreng and Cracker stations can attest. I enjoyed the theatrics of the live pizza station as much as the delicious pizzas themselves. Hopefully, they will add more options to the 2 currently available. If you venture to the Seafood Corner, make sure it is on a day they are serving the Salmon Fish Head Curry.
