1. Treetop Obstacle Course at Forest Adventure

Forest Adventure is Singapore’s largest treetop adventure park. Go on an adventure through a thrilling Treetop Obstacle Course with unstable crossings and whizzing zip lines.

There are three courses available, catering to different age groups: Kids Course, Junior Course and Grand Course. The Kids Course and Junior Course are perfect for young children and primary school kids who wish to experience high-element courses. The heights are more manageable with just enough obstacles to create a fun adventure for the young ones. 

Both the Kids and Junior Courses are $40.90 per pax and accompanying adult. Forest Adventure also features a Buddies Package where you can save money by going in groups of 4, costing S$147.20 and S$152 respectively. 

The Grand Course, on the other hand, is the ultimate challenge. The course caters to teens and up and features a 300m zipline over Bedok Reservoir with more than 20 crossings to traverse.

The Grand Course is S$50.90 per pax and accompanying adult. The Buddies package for this course is S$188.

A safety briefing will be held to help you familiarise yourself with the equipment. Instructors are available on the ground to guide you through the course.

2. Wakeboarding at Singapore Wake Park

Wakeboarding is growing in popularity in Singapore. It involves a rider holding onto the end of a rope attached to a boat. They stand on a board that allows them to skim across the water as the boat speeds away. It is much harder than it sounds.

The best place to learn how to wakeboard is Singapore Wake Park. It is Singapore’s only cable-ski park that was built in the lagoon at East Coast Park. It costs $50 per rider per session. If yourself enjoying the sport, you can invest in Share-The-Fun passes and Season passes starting at S$350.

You can choose between Systems A, B and C, depending on your experience level. System A is a beginner-friendly course with an instructor available to coach you through it. System B is an intermediate course with free reign of the course with no instructors and some obstacles. 

System C is the advanced course with the Advanced Full-size cable where you navigate obstacles at 30km/h. First-time riders in this category can work their way up by starting with 24km/h.

3. Paintball matches at Red Dynasty Paintball Park

Lovers of tactical combat games, this one’s for you. Grab your closest friends and challenge them to a paintball match at Red Dynasty Paintball Park. Strategise, test your skills and forge an unbreakable bond.

Red Dynasty Paintball Park has Singapore’s biggest paintball arena with three different play areas: the Speedball Fields, the Killzone and Area 51. Choose 1 of 8 different game modes where you can defeat zombies, split into teams and fight to the death, or even participate in a classic game of capture the flag. 

Beyond paintball, they also offer games like laser tag, archery tag, foam dart and gel ball. The games start at S$220 nett and prices vary depending on the game. Each game has a venue capacity of 500 pax. Different age limits apply to different games. Do check upon booking.

4. Slingshot Singapore

Take it from a person with a history of asthma, this one is not for the faint of heart.

5. Rock climbing at Climb Central

Having experienced rock climbing, there is nothing more stomach-dropping than a single harness and rope being the only things between you and free-falling down a great height. Even with the guarantee of safety, it certainly is a mental hurdle that you need to overcome.

6. Indoor obstacle course at Adventure HQ

Interested in Forest Adventure but hoping to escape the heat, try your hand at Adventure HQ. Located in HomeTeamNS Khatib, Adventure HQ is an indoor obstacle course with 22 interactive climbing elements, a 2-tiered rope course with 16 elements and many more.

Go on an odyssey through 8 different sections. Be a martial arts master for a day at the Ninja Course, traverse an artificial network of caves at the Fossil Labyrinth and reach new heights at the Sky Venture and Adventure Trail. 7. Ride Luge carts at Skyline Luge

The day I went to Skyline Luge Singapore for my birthday was honestly one of the best birthday weekends I ever had. It was in 2023, I had just started watching Formula 1, and my birthday coincided with the Singapore Grand Prix. Let’s just say I truly channelled my inner Verstappen that day.

The Skyline Luge was first established in New Zealand and made its way to Singapore in 2005. A Luge cart is a three-wheel cart with handles with breaking that travels between 120km/h to 145km/h. Yeah, it goes fast! The mechanism takes quite a bit of getting used to but, fret not, instructions will be provided for first-timers.

Race your friends through 4 different track layouts, including tunnels, hairpin turns, and downhill slopes. Feel the wind gust in your face and zoom past tall trees as you enjoy this thrilling ride.

The best time to go on the Skyline Luge Singapore, in my opinion, is at night.

This is when the tracks come to life with vibrant colours. It’s also a time when you can avoid the heat of the sun.

Tickets start at S$29 with 2-ride, 3-ride, 4-ride and 5-ride combos. The 5-ride combo also comes with a digital photo of you on the track. There is also an option for parents to ride in tandem with their young children known as Tandem Thursdays.

8. Indoor skydiving at iFly Singapore

9. Bungee jumping at Skypark Sentosa  

If you’re still in the mood to cross off your bucket list, here’s another adrenaline-filled activity to consider. Bungee jumping!

Skypark Sentosa by AJ Hackett offers a glorious bungee jumping experience with a beautiful view of the Sentosa beaches and skyline. If you are hesitant to take that first step, bring along a friend to jump with you. So, hold on tight to your friend or loved one and feel your belly swoop as you leap off of a 47-metre ledge!

An equally intense experience would be the Giant Swing. Brace yourselves and scream your lungs out as you swing across the sunny Sentosa skies at 120km/h. For this, you have the option of going by yourself or with up to 2 others.

10. Go-karting at HyperDrive
