Whenever I make a sandwich at home, my first choice for condiment almost always ends up being mustard. I’ll take it straight, hot, stone-ground, or sharp and complex; I’m not one to discriminate. Even on hot dogs, go ahead and ditch the ketchup, it’s going to be mustard for me and I’ll be perfectly content with my decision.

If ever I’m in the mood to be surprised by a condiment I’ve yet to try, I usually head to my local Trader Joe’s for a quick peek at the popular neighborhood grocer's unique selection. And since I'm on the topic of quality mustards the conversation would not even exist without including the return of Trader Joe’s fan-favorite Dill Pickle Mustard.

What Is Trader Joe’s Dill Pickle Mustard?

Now in its second season at Trader Joe’s, this Dill Pickle Mustard is a snappy combination of savory flavors paired with a tangy kick of well-dilled pickle. In terms of finding the perfect summer sauce for all of your seasonal backyard recipes, this is one mustard I cannot speak more highly of. Just in time and exclusively here for summer, you can snag yourself a nine-ounce bottle for just $1.99 and instantly elevate your favorite summer meals.

What I Love About Trader Joe’s Dill Pickle Mustard

Featuring natural pickle flavoring, dill weed, and real diced pickle pieces in every bottle, this mustard sports a combination of truly other-worldly flavors. What I love most about this mustard offering is the creative way TJ’s went about combining some of the key ingredients into an excellent hamburger in one convenient little bottle.

Even if burgers aren’t your thing (they certainly are mine) this mustard is an explosion of flavor that has had fans fighting to buy a dozen bottles at a time since its initial release in 2021.

How To Use Trader Joe’s Dill Pickle Mustard

I’ve found myself using this herbaceous combination of flavors so much so that the rest of my mustard options have been left sitting lonely on the inside of my refrigerator door. My favorite way to use Dill Pickle Mustard so far has been on a homemade cuban sandwich, however this summer it will be my go-to for hot dogs and hamburgers as well as for glazes and pan sauces.

I can’t wait to try it out as an additional ingredient while marinating chicken thighs and I'm even thinking about trying it alongside Dijon Mustard the next time I make potato salad. Whichever way you decide to use it for yourself, I’m confident it will only elevate your meals, especially for you self-proclaimed pickle fanatics.
