Zoë Kravitz invoked Jean Harlow at the Oscars after-party, but she put her own spin on it
Badass babe Zoë Kravitz rocked an Oscar look that perfectly inhabits the space where Old Hollywood glamour meets punk. The actress, activist, and uh, turtle caretaker worked the red carpet in a sleek, black beaded number with teeny tiny spaghetti straps. The backless garment had side cutouts that perfectly draped on Zoë’s lithe figure, and featured dramatic, angular detailing on one side.
The star went blonde back in October, and her platinum hair was perfectly side-swept in a braids-curls-undercut combo, which brought to mind Jean Harlow meets rebel-girl vibes. A pop of bright orangey-red lipstick was a nice contrast to the Big Little Lies actress’ all-black ensemble, and strong brows and freckles rounded out the edgy-but-approachable vibe.
She is just so dang pretty.
Zoë went necklace and bracelet-free and instead opted for big dangly diamond earrings and a few rings. Her permanent accessories — a collection of tiny tattoos — were out and proud!
