Ziana Zain returns to acting after 8 years

29 Sep – After taking a break from acting for a long time, Ziana Zain is making her comeback to star in Rashid Sibir's telefilm, "Mati... Tunggu Sekejap".
"At this point I am busy filming Rashid Sibir's telefilm called "Mati... Tunggu Sekejap". This would be my first appearance after 8 years of not acting at all."
"The main reason why I took this offer is because it is being directed by Rashid Sibir," she was quoted as saying to Kosmo!
Added the 48-year-old actress, among the factors that have also made her accept the job was the short filming duration and the location which is close to her home.
Apart from Ziana as the lead, Nasha Aziz and Adibah Noor will also be starring in the film.
Talking more about the telefilm, she said the film is about three good friends who have gotten married and then meet again. The meet-up makes them recount their bittersweet school memories.
In other related news, Ziana will also be coming up with a concert called Konsert High Note which will also include Azlan & The Typewriter and Jaclyn Victor which will run from 25 to 27 October 2016.
