30 Nov – Zhou Dongyu has recently won another award for her performance in "Better Days", making it her fifth win for the said movie and the third actress to have won Best Actress at the three biggest film awards.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who accepted the Best Actress at the 33rd China Golden Rooster Awards last weekend, referred to the story of the ugly duckling on stage, stating that, "If an ugly duckling can become a white swan, a little yellow duck like me can become a golden rooster."

It is noted that by winning at the Golden Rooster Awards and previously winning Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards as well as Golden Horse Awards' Best Actress in 2016 for her role in "Soul Mate", Zhou is only the third actress to have been honoured with the big three accolades after Zhou Xun and Zhang Ziyi.

When asked how it felt to be among the few who has won the "Grand Slam", Zhou laughed and said that she is excited about her win.

It is noted that Zhou had also won Best Actress for her role in "Better Days" at the 31st Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Awards, the 14th Asian Film Awards, as well as the 11th China Film Director's Guild Awards' Actress of the Year.
