Zepp Hall Network and BIGBOX have collaborated to renovate a 3,500 sq m hall, part of the megaBOX Event Space, and rebrand it as a live hall called ‘Zepp@BIGBOX Singapore’.

Like Zepp’s six music halls located all over Japan, Zepp@BIGBOX Singapore will also be a concert venue dedicated to bringing the best of sound and lighting for music enthusiasts to enjoy live concerts by their favourite bands.

The mid-sized Zepp concert hall in Singapore will come pre-equipped with the same stage machinery, lighting and sound systems that are used in the halls in Japan.

With a capacity of 2,333, the hall can be expanded to accommodate up to 4,032 by combining with an adjacent hall (hall B), allowing for concerts of various sizes to be staged.

Zepp@BIGBOX Singapore is part of the megaBOX Event Space at the BIGBOX megamall, which has already hosted several concerts and fan meetings, such as popular Korean boy band GOT7’s concert in December 2016 and girl group GFriend’s fan meet last September.

The Zepp Hall Network, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan, currently has six halls in the cities of Sapporo, Nagoya, two each in Tokyo and Osaka, with new ones opening in Fukuoka and Yokohama. There will also be new halls opening in Taipei and Kuala Lumpur by 2020.

These halls have played host to many international artists, with many musicians conducting a ‘Zepp tour’ all over Japan by performing in every hall in the country.
