Zendaya led the best dressed list at last night’s 71st Emmy Awards in a Poison Ivy-inspired ensemble.

The ‘Euphoria’ actress graced the red carpet in an emerald-hued gown by Vera Wang which featured a sheer bust and hip-slicing skirt - yep, she single-handedly proved that the split leg is back for another round this season.

A pair of matching Brian Atwood heels completed the tonal ensemble.

If that wasn’t enough to see her trending on Twitter, the 23-year-old even went so far as to dye her hair an autumn-ready shade of auburn for the starry occasion.

But it wasn’t just us who fell head over heels for the look, as social media fans from across the globe took to Twitter to declare that Zendaya had in fact “won the Emmys”.

“Shut it down, your best dressed at the #Emmys2019 is Zendaya, thank you for coming, good night,” one wrote.

Another agreed, adding: “Zendaya won the Emmys so no need to watch. The whole thing, she won the whole thing.”

While some suggested that she take on the role of Poison Ivy in a future remake.

“Remake ‘Batman and Robin’ solely to cast Zendaya as Poison Ivy you cowards,” a third user tweeted.

Unsurprisingly, the winning ensemble came courtesy of Zendaya’s right hand man, stylist Law Roach, who is also responsible for a number of the killer looks emblazoned across her CV.

We’re talking everything from that Cinderella frock at the 2019 Met Gala (Tommy Hilfiger) to her ultra chic interpretation of the ‘Spidey Suit’ (Armani Privé).

Emphasising where he sought inspiration for Zendaya’s latest outfit from, Roach shared a series of images on his Instagram Stories from Uma Thurman posing in the 1997 ‘Batman and Robin’ film to a comic interpretation of the famous figure.

Well, it looks like the actress’ next superhero role is sorted then.
