Zack Snyder Reveals Deathstroke in Behind-the-Scenes Storyboard Tweet

Zack Snyder Reveals Deathstroke in Behind-the-Scenes Storyboard Tweet

“Justice League” director Zack Snyder tweeted a photo of himself Thursday working on some storyboards on his tablet while wearing one of Batman’s gauntlets with the caption “Cosplay.”

However, some very clever fanboys over at the DC Extended Universe Twitter feed took the image and enhanced it to see what exactly Snyder is working on.

They managed to enhance the image to the point where we clearly see that Snyder’s working on a pretty major Deathstroke reveal. The enhancement reveals Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke in his signature eyepatch talking to someone. All we know about that someone Deathstroke is talking to is that it’s a bald-headed figure. Could it be Lex Luthor, leading to the assumption that Lex meets with DC’s deadliest assassin in “Justice League?”

“True Blood” and “Magic Mike” star Joe Manganiello will play the deadly villain Deathstroke in Ben Affleck‘s solo Batman film.

The casting, as first reported by the Wall Street Journal, came after TheWrap confirmed that Deathstroke would be the lead villain in the Warner Bros. film.

In 2009, Deathstroke was ranked as IGN’s 32nd greatest comic book villain of all time. Deathstroke, also known as Deathstroke the Terminator or simply Slade, is known to be the greatest assassin in all of DC Comics. He has encountered Batman on several occasions in the comics, beginning in the 1991 Deathstroke standalone DC comic.

“Justice League” will be released in theaters on November 10, 2017.
