Yuko Oshima, Kento Hayaki to tie the knot
30 Jul – Former AKB48 member Yuko Oshima recently announced that she is tying the knot with actor Kento Hayaki.
As reported on Epoch Times, the 32 year-old singer shared the good news via her agency, saying that she has always been grateful to her fans for their continuous support and hopes that they will be happy for the good news.
"Thanks to everyone, I can expand my world even more, and I once again truly feel that this will become my strength in the future," she added.
On the other hand, Kento posted his announcement on his official website that read, "I became an actor at the age of 15, and half of my life has been spent as an actor. For those who have been cheering me on since my debut and those who have shown interest in me through my works, your existence has always been my support, and your warm words have given me strength to go one step after another. I am very grateful."
"In the future, I will have a more sense of responsibility. I will face everything sincerely and continue to improve myself. I hope everyone will protect me warmly. Although the world is still in a difficult situation, I sincerely hope that the day when you can live with peace of mind will come," he added.
The two collaborated in the 2012 movie, "Ujishima the Loan Shark" and soon became good friends. They became much more familiar with each other working together on the 2019 NHK drama, "Scarlet" and started dating in the summer following the drama's conclusion.
