YouTube Gamer Ali-A to write graphic novel
The successful vlogger Ali-A, who has over 13 million subscribers to his two YouTube channels, is to add another string to his bow with the release of his debut graphic novel "Game On!"
Ali-A (real name Alistair Aiken) has signed with Puffin (Penguin Random House) for a one-book deal, working with the best-selling author and comic writer Cavan Scott and artist/illustrator Alek Sotirovski. Fans of the gamer can also apply to be featured in the novel in a competition which closes on March 5.
British Ali-A (who started his gaming channel in 2009) is one of the most successful vloggers online, with two Guinness World Records and one of YouTube's fastest-growing audiences.
"Game On!" will be released in the UK and US mid-October, 2017.
