Your ‘Peter Pan’ Childhood Crush, Jeremy Sumpter, Is Engaged
Welp.
Try not to cry, but the star of the 2003 film ‘Peter Pan’, Jeremy Sumpter, is officially engaged.
The curly-haired US star won the hearts of young viewers across the globe when he made his film debut as the cheeky and lovable protagonist of J.M. Barrie’s much-loved story at the age of fourteen, recently coming back into the spotlight after fans found his Instagram account.
Looking almost exactly the same as he did twelve years ago, you can’t blame fans for falling in love with Jeremy, now 26, all over again.
Unfortunately, unlike his onscreen persona, Jeremy has grown up - and revealed earlier today that he had even popped the question to his long-term girlfriend, Lauren Pacheco.
Sharing a snapshot of himself and the pretty blonde over on his Instagram page, the actor wrote: “@laurentpacheco stole my heart.. So I put a ring on her finger for it. #engaged”.
And what a bloomin’ sparkler of a ring it is.
Writing on her own page, Lauren added: “Best night of my life. I’m all yours @jeremysumpterofficially I love you with all my heart. #forever 12.14.2015”.
Massive kudos to Lauren for achieving every twenty-something-year-old girl’s dream, and also a huge congratulations to the newly-engaged couple.
We just hope that we’re not around when Wendy finds out…
