Younger stars dominate Golden Rooster Awards


26 Sep - The Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival recently concluded with young stars dominating the awards.

As reported on Liberty Times, the event, which was held in Hebei on 24 September, witnessed the victory of Feng Shaofeng, who won Best Actor for his role in "Wolf Totem".

The actor seemed surprised when called on stage to accept the award, and said that he didn't expect to win, since being nominated is already a dream come true for him.

Meanwhile, young actor Li Yifeng and Angelababy both won in the Supporting category for their roles in "Mr. Six" and "Mojin - The Lost Legend", respectively.

The winners are as follows:

Best Director: Wu Ershan ("Mojin - The Lost Legend")
Best Actor: Feng Shaofeng ("Wolf Totem")
Best Actress: Xu Qing ("Mr. Six")
Best Supporting Actor: Li Yifeng ("Mr. Six")
Best Supporting Actress: Angelababy (Mojin - The Lost Legend")
Best New Artiste: Zhuang Xiaolong ("Wolf Warriors")
Best Screenplay: Cao Baoping, Jiao Huajing ("The Dead End")
