Yoga Lin assures wife is fine despite plasticizer issue
22 Jun – Taiwanese singer Yoga Lin recently assured everything is well with wife Kiki Ding, who recently admitted to have consumed supplements that recently made the news for its high content of plasticizer.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer, who attended an endorsement event recently, shared that they didn't know about the issue regarding the DEHP content in a capsule of a certain brand of algal oil until they saw the reports about it.
"My main point that I want to say here is that this is the kind of [supplements] that are taken by pregnant women, therefore the relevant authorities should have stricter inspections. Otherwise, it will only bring woes to these mothers," he said.
Yoga said that following the news, he immediately took Kiki to the hospital to consult the doctors. Luckily, it was not as concerning as they thought it would be, said the singer.
On the other hand, Yoga stated that his wife is soon to give birth to their baby.
"The doctors and nurses have even reminded us a lot of things whenever we went for a check-up. We've already packed for the upcoming delivery. Oh my God, now that I realised that the baby is coming, I am getting even more nervous!" he enthused.
This will be the first child for Yoga and Kiki, who tied the knot last year.
