Yatt Hamzah happy to finally give birth to a son
7 Jul – Yatt Hamzah is elated that she finally gave birth to a son as she already has four daughters.
The actress, who announced the birth of her son on 5 July, took to Instagram to share her birthing journey, saying that her child was nearly delivered by Caesarean section.
"At the last second, I was able to give birth normally even though I had to endure the pain for more than [eight] hours and pushed until the blood vessels ruptured under the skin of my face, eyes and the whole body. You can clearly see that the skin on my face is full of red spots like freckles. This is the sacrifice of a mother, as long as the child is born safe and healthy," she wrote.
Yatt stated that she never expected to finally give birth to a son, especially after deciding that it would be her last pregnancy. When asked for tips on how to get a baby boy, the actress stated that she did nothing but relied on God's fate.
"Don't just expect it, pray for it. We would be happy with whatever gender as long as our child is safe and healthy," she added.
It is noted that Yatt lost her fifth child in a miscarriage back in September last year. The actress, who tied the knot with videographer Mohamad Zulfadhli Khairuddin in 2016, is already a mother to Suci Humaira Iqima, 5, Suci Hayfa Medina 3, and Suci Hawa Zulaikha, 1.
She also has another child, Suci Hanania Malika, now 9, from her previous marriage.
