Yao Yuan-Hao says Jimmy Lin is now in general ward
10 Aug - Yao Yuan-Hao recently revealed that Jimmy Lin has already been transferred to a general ward, following the car accident that occurred late last month.
The Taiwanese actor, who spoke to the media at a brand event recently, was asked about the actor's well-being, seeing that both of them are friends who share a mutual interest in racing cars.
"I haven't visited Jimmy, but I am concerned about him. He is recovering right now. I learned through mutual friends about him that he has been transferred to the general ward," he said.
Asked if the accident has affected his love for racing, Yao stated that racing is a very safe sport and that the incident was a matter of luck.
"Jimmy has been in this sport longer. He has always been very cautious. It was just a bad luck, but I also think it's a blessing in misfortune," he added.
On the other hand, Jimmy's camp has declined to share more about the singer's current situation, saying that they will not give any more responses while Jimmy is recuperating.
Jimmy made headlines last month when his Tesla car crashed into an electrical pole at a road divider in Taiwan's Taoyuan City and burst into flames. The 47-year-old was revealed to be driving with one of his twin sons Jenson in tow, and the two were rescued by passers-by.
