19 Dec – Yam Concepcion recently admitted that she was not at all affected by the fact that she was a second choice to play the antagonist Dana Wong in her upcoming series, "Love Thy Woman".
As reported on PEP, the actress, who took over the role after first choice Erich Gonzales left the project, stated that she didn't even know that the role initially belonged to Gonzalez when she was approached with it, but immediately said yes after reading the script.
"I mean, why not? This is my first time working with Dreamscape, and it's a good opportunity as well. I can work with stellar actress Eula Valdes, who is my number one actress because of "Pangako Sa 'Yo", and also other [seniors] like Christopher de Leon, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Sunshine Cruz. I'm sure it will be a good experience for me and I will learn a lot," she said.
Concepcion also stated that viewers might hate her character in the said drama, even more than her role as Jade in the previous series, "Halik".
"I won't say that she is a villain but she will probably cause chaos in the story. I think she's pretty bad," she said with enthusiasm.
"Love Thy Woman" is set to be aired in 2020.
