Yahoo to host the 4th eSports tournament in Taipei

With eSports gaming gaining popularity around the world, Yahoo is proud to host the 4th eSports Invitational Tournament to be held at EXPO Dome, Taipei. The tournament is set to kickstart on Saturday, Dec 8 at noon, and Yahoo! Singapore will be streaming the tournament live on the homepage.

The tournament’s main focus will be the competition between Street Fighter V and Hearthstone. Hearthstone World Championship winner Tom60229 and 8th place winner Pinpingho will be leading Team Red and Team Blue from Taiwan, respectively. They will compete against players from Japan and Hong Kong, with special guests including Jia Dee and Hearthstone World Championship 1st runner-up Fr0zen. Players Tresred, yucco and machamp will be repping Japan; while Kin0531, Shy and Losefield will rep Hong Kong.

Invited guests include the mayor of Taipei, Ko Wen-je, who will be lending his support and cheers.
