Xian Lim to co-host Miss Grand International

20 Jul - It was revealed that actor Xian Lim is set to host this year's Miss Grand International pageant.

As reported on Push, the actor will be co-hosting the event, which will be held in Vietnam this year, with Miss Grand International 2016 First Runner-Up and fellow Filipina, Nicole Cordoves.

Expressing his delight with the trust given by the organisation, Lim said, "I am just thankful. I am sure it would be a wonderful experience."

Reportedly, Miss Grand International CEO Nawat Itsaragrisil saw videos of Lim's performance when he hosted four editions of Binibining Pilipinas, and decided that he is the best man for the job.

Lim said that his goal right now is to make the event as entertaining as possible.

"Even if it's a formal event, I want them to feel like we're having a good time," he said.

The upcoming Miss Grand International will be held at the Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc Convention Hall on the island of Phu Quoc on 25 October.

Cebuan Elizabeth Clenci will be representing the Philippines at this year's pageant.
