Xenia Chong undergoes surgery for gallstones
27 Sep - Hong Kong actress Xenia Chong recently admitted to rumours saying that she has been hospitalised with cholecystitis.
The actress confirmed the news on Instagram, saying that she didn't think that her stomach ache was a big problem when she first went to the doctor.
"After the recent issue, I could no longer hold the pain and went to see the doctor. The doctor found out that I was suffering from cholecystitis and gallstones," she said, adding that she will be undergoing surgery to remove it.
A few hours later, Xenia shared another photo of her gallstones, saying, "The operation is a success. The gallbladder has been operated. Thank you for your concern."
Xenia recently made the news over her decision to terminate her contract with Marie Zhuge's company, saying that she was asked to do something beyond her limit. Marie had since denied the allegations.
