Xander Ford bashed for filing cyberbullying report

3 Nov - Xander Ford's decision to file a cyberbullying complaint has sparked criticisms from netizens, who see it as a hypocritical act on his part.

As reported on PhilNews, late last month the former Hash5t member went to the Philippine National Police (PNP)'s Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) to file a report against a certain Dave Alvarez and Angela Razon for maliciously uploading a past video of him criticising actress Kathryn Bernardo.

The video shows Ford, back when he was still known as Marlou Arizala and yet to undergo his plastic surgery, criticising and body-shaming Bernardo, calling her "bowlegged".

Following the release of the video, Ford was not only slammed by other celebrities and Bernardo's fans, but also received death threats from netizens.

Nonetheless, Ford's decision to go to the police had since sparked another criticism against him.

Some stated that it's ironic that Ford is crying cyberbullying after doing the same thing to Bernardo, while others are saying he should have just taken it as a lesson instead of blaming other people.

However, there are also netizens who are showing support to Ford, saying that he has the right to fight for his right.
