Wyn Marquez denies using breakup to promote new movie
20 Feb – Teresita "Wyn" Marquez recently dismissed the idea that she used her breakup to promote her new movie.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who recently admitted to have ended her relationship with Mark Herras after three years, stated that she was only telling the truth since she knew that it would come up sooner or later.
"If I really intended to use this for promo, I could have claimed that there are sparks between me and Enzo [Pineda] to set off more speculations," Winwyn said.
Pineda is Marquez's leading man in the new movie, "Time & Again".
"I see him more as a baby brother, whom I have been friends with for years," she said of Pineda.
However, Marquez declined to elaborate more about the split other than that the two of them have been too busy with their own individual work.
"There's something deeper to it. And we tackled it maturely. It was a mutual decision. I can safely say I don't have ill feelings for him," she reiterated.
The actress also stated that she does feel hurt by the breakup, but believes that such a thing should be left at home when she goes to work.
As to whether there is any chance for them to rekindle their romance, Marquez stated that she is not closing any doors on it, but also not seeing it happening anytime soon.
