You can’t turn anywhere in Hollywood these days without bumping into a new Stephen King adaptation.

We’re just weeks away from the release of IT: Chapter Two, his The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep will be in cinemas in time for Halloween, and the first season of Castle Rock, the psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, comes to DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download on 2 September.

To celebrate the long-awaited U.K. release of the show, from exec producers J.J. Abrams and Stephen King, and starring André Holland, Sissy Spacek, and Bill Skarsgård, we held a World Cup of Stephen King over on the @YahooMoviesUK Twitter account.

If you’re not familiar with the concept of a Twitter World Cup, it’s fairly easy to follow and get involved: We selected 32 of King’s most famous books from classics like Carrie and Pet Sematary all the way up to his more recent chillers like Mr. Mercedes and Finders Keepers.

Those 32 titles were divided into eight groups, and voted for via a series of Twitter polls over last few days, until a final vote decided which title is the won the Stephen King World Cup.

Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "group of death".
