Wong Cho Lam chooses family over "Keep Running"
14 Feb – Wong Cho Lam recently dismissed the notion that he was "replaced" in the new season of Chinese variety show, "Keep Running" - saying that it was his choice to leave the programme after many years.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who recently confirmed rumours that he will not return for the seventh season, told the media recently that his decision to leave is related to his family and his showbiz career.
"My baby was born last year, and I also directed my first movie recently. I didn't have a lot of time for my wife before when I was still doing "Keep Running". So this year, I will strive to be a family-oriented man. My wife and I will remain in Hong Kong, and I hope to spend more time with my family," he said.
At the same time, Wong admitted that he does feel emotional about saying goodbye to the show since it marked a turning point in his career.
"I had a good relationship with the other members. We had chemistry. But I had to make this decision for the sake of the family," he said.
