Wonder Woman takes over DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe at Marina Bay Sands
DC and Warner Bro’s “Wonder Woman” film may still be a few weeks from our shores, but that didn’t stop the Princess of the Amazons from making “an appearance” in Singapore last Thursday (4 May).
The DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe @ Marina Bay Sands played host to a sneak peak of upcoming official Wonder Woman merchandise as well as a cosplayer dressed as Princess Diana herself, together with a resin figure of the film’s titular character.
The cafe also served a specially-curated Wonder Woman menu, which included items like the “Shields of Truth Pancake”, “Truth & Reality Mini Burgers” and “Paradise Island Mac & Cheese”.
Wonder Woman is also the theme of design marathon WEDESIGN, which will take place on 20 May at Bugis+ and see 120 designers competing for the prizes.
It stars Gal Gadot as Diana of Themyscira, who meets Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), a US Army Air Service captain and gets involved in the events of World War I.
“Wonder Woman” opens in Singapore on 31 May.
