This is definitely the year of Wonder Woman. A new Wonder Woman film from Warner Bros. and DC Comics is in the works (the first official poster was released today), and now the U.S. Postal Service has announced that it is teaming up with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment/DC Comics to celebrate the iconic superhero's diamond anniversary with a set of four Forever Stamps featuring the classic heroine.

To truly commemorate Wonder Woman's evolution during her 75 years, from her origins during World War II to a modern symbol of strength and beauty, USPS says the new stamps will feature four versions of the superhero from the four different periods of comic book history: the Golden Age (1941-55), the Silver Age (1956-72), the Bronze Age (1973-86), and the Modern Age (1987-present).

U.S. Postal Service took to their Facebook page to announce the news in a short post linking to a preview of the commemorative stamps, which will be previewed at the San Diego, Calif., Comic-Con International on Saturday, July 23, and will be made available to the public after a special ceremony at the New York Comic-Con on October 7.
