SINGAPORE – Design retailer brand Naiise began in 2013 when founder Dennis Tay, 34, wanted to create a one-stop space for people to shop for well-curated and fun products. With four stores in Singapore, including the newly opened outlet at Jewel Changi Airport, as well as a store in Kuala Lumpur, Naiise continues to bring good design to people by stocking over 25,000 products from more than 1,000 emerging and established designers from around the world.

Chief Marketing & Buying Officer, Amanda Eng, 34, joined the business in 2014 when Tay decided to hire his-then girlfriend to run the marketing operations as the company’s first employee. The rest they say, is history. The couple recently welcomed their second child and officiated the opening of their fourth outlet at Jewel Changi Airport within the same year! Not an easy feat at all.

Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore chats with Eng about how they would do things differently if they had the chance and how the couple maintains professionalism at work.
