EXCLUSIVE: This is unfolding in real time. Longtime WME agent Cliff Roberts has just parted company with the agency after 10 years there (with another six years spent as an agent at WMA after starting in the mailroom). The word is that CAA is his likely landing place, but that part hasn’t yet happened.

Roberts has a stellar client list. His longtime clients include Oscar-winning The Big Short co-writer and director Adam McKay, Central Intelligence helmer Rawson Thurber, The Imitation Game and Passengers helmer Morten Tyldum, Dark Shadows scribe Seth Grahame Smith, Carlton Cuse, Sherlock Holmes scribe Anthony Peckham, The Revenant scribe Mark L. Smith, What Happens In Vegas scribe Dana Fox, The Beaver scribe Kyle Killen, and many more.

Stay tuned.
