Winwyn Marquez starts her basic military training
5 Aug – After enrolling in the Basic Citizens Military Training last February, Winwyn Marquez recently revealed that she has just recently started her training.
As reported on GMA News, the Kapuso actress posted a photo of her training for the Navy Reserve Force along with several other trainees, mostly men, and wrote, "BCMC CLASS 01 2020 - Class President, Marquez. Hooyah!!"
"Congratulations! Class 01 lets do this... Strict protocol was followed and everyone was required to do a rapid test before anything else," she added.
In her previous post, Marquez admitted that a lot of people asked her why she decided to do it, to which she said that it was just what she wanted.
"No need for long explanations. We don't need to justify what we want to do, we can just show them what a woman can do," she added.
