Winwyn Marquez on Miss World: My mind's not there
11 Aug – Although she has already proved her worth after winning Reina Hispanoamericana in 2015, Winwyn Marquez recently stated that she is not looking to compete in the Miss World pageant.
As reported on GMA News, the actress who was asked about her thoughts on participating in a bigger pageant than the previous one during the promotion of her movie, stated that she is quite "over age" to be joining Miss World at 28.
"Right now, I really don't have any thoughts about joining because there is a pandemic and my mind is not really there," she said.
Marquez also stated that her focus right now is to complete her training as a military reservist and to spend more time with her family.
"I am thankful to the people who have confidence in me since my previous win in 2015. They're still supporting me until today," she said.
