24 Mar – Winwyn Marquez recently chastised a netizen who blasted her for posting TikTok videos instead of doing anything to help the needy during the pandemic.
As reported on GMA News, the actress who has been sharing several TikTok videos since the Philippine government announced the lockdown to curb the pandemic, found herself being questioned by a netizen using the handle of @baekhyun_jewelz on Twitter, who asked, "So as a Reina Hispanoamericana, what did you do to help our fellow Filipino citizens? Nothing."
"Instead of doing TikTok videos or anything else, try to help. Just a reminder," the tweeter added.
To that, Marquez responded, "Nothing? Do I need to report what I donated and post what I donated? Do you even know me personally that you see us doing this when we post TikTok videos?"
"Thanks for the reminder though, but hopefully there will be no assumptions, and hopefully you're also helping others," she added.
When another reminded Marquez to stop posting too many TikTok videos, the actress stated that she only shared two or three of those videos on Instagram.
"Don't download the app or uninstall the app if it's bad for you. I understand not everybody likes TikTok," she added.
