Winwyn Marquez has no issue working on ABS-CBN project

21 Jul – Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez recently stated that there was no issue at all in her decision to participate in the new iWant series, "Beauty Queens", even though the streaming platform belongs to ABS-CBN.

As reported on PEP, the actress who is one of the leading actresses of the said Joel Lamangan series, shared that her home network GMA had no qualms allowing her to do the project as there was no conflict with any show under GMA.

"It was discussed properly and no one was bypassed. That is what important, right? It's okay," she said.

Marquez admitted that she is happy to be able to work in a new environment for a change, and to collaborate with other artistes and staff - especially since they all treated her just the same.

"Joel Lamangan was very helpful too. I hadn't worked with him before, but I have met him. It's really great, because it's different," she said.

At the same time, the actress stated that she will remain a Kapuso for a long time, with her upcoming series, "Owe My Love" currently waiting to be broadcast.

Aside from Marquez, who won Reina Hispanoamericana in 2017, "Beauty Queens" co-stars Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz and Miss Universe-PH 2016 Maxine Medina.
