The 22/23 Premier League title race is over so eyes are turning to next season and who could challenge Manchester City for the title.

These are the top 10 Premier League title favourites according to the best odds available right now.

1) Manchester City
Already massive odds-on favourite to claim their sixth title in seven years and an unprecedented fourth title in a row. Will Pep Guardiola be given any credit for this one? Probably not.

2=) Arsenal
There are many examples of teams who have finished as runners-up and then absolutely f***ed it. But for now, despite leading but then ceding in the title race, there is at least some hope that Arsenal will go again. Only about 9/1 of hope but hope nevertheless.

2=) Liverpool
The fifth-best team this season but the bookies believe their 2023 run means they are as likely as the Gunners to mount a title challenge, especially if they do some serious midfield engineering in the summer.

4) Manchester United
Third this season and seemingly bound for worse next season, though if they upgrade significantly up front then expect them to climb this list.

5) Newcastle United
If Newcastle are way ahead of Man City on the inexorable path to glory for state-owned behemoths then they should be in line for a title race in the season after finishing in the top four, but everybody remains unconvinced that Newcastle can reproduce that kind of season when Liverpool presumably revert to the norm.

6) Chelsea
A sh*t-show of a season from the Blues but with Mauricio Pochettino incoming, Chelsea could surprise a few. They have had sh*t-shows before and come back to win the title. It’s not out of the question.

7) Tottenham
You can get 66/1 on Tottenham winning the Premier League and that still feels a bit short. They have no manager, no idea if they can keep Harry Kane, and they need upgrades in any number of positions with no indication if there is any money available.

8) Brighton
They will likely lose Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo this summer but they are still seen as the best of the rest outside the Big Seven.

9) Aston Villa
More points in 2023 than any team barring Manchester City and yet as long as 250/1. Unai Emery has been a revelation as Villa manager this season and is expected to be backed with money this summer but this is 2023 and the title is seen as a near-impossibility.

10=) Brentford
Even without Ivan Toney?

10=) West Ham
Even without a competent striker at all?
