Wilson Chin's funeral to be held in December
2 Nov– A funeral will be held in December for the late filmmaker Wilson Chin, who passed away late last month.
As reported on Mingpao, an obituary was released to the media on 1 November, announcing that the memorial service will be held at the Po Fook Memorial Hall in Sha Tin on 8 December, with Wilson's funeral and cremation to be held the next day.
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all walks of life and all affiliated associations for their care, condolences, and assistance," said Wilson's widow, Calinda Chan.
The director, known for films like "Lan Kwai Fong" and "One Night in Taipei", passed away from pancreatic cancer on 27 October. He was 58.
