William So not upset over comments regarding Andy Hui scandal
26 Apr – Hong Kong singer William So recently stated that he will not take to heart the backlash that came following his previous statement regarding Andy Hui's cheating scandal.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who was criticised by netizens who claimed that he has no right to speak about Andy and Sammi Cheng's marriage as he was also "previously divorced and remarried", stated that he personally thinks that the issue is over.
"Kenneth Ma made a good point. The people who have the right to say something have already said them. I slept early yesterday, and I got up this morning. There were a lot of messages on Instagram, many who supported my friends, and some who gave other opinion. On Easter, let's just erase everything and start over," he said.
Asked if he has contacted either Sammi or Andy, William stated that he has been in contact with the latter's assistants every day.
As for Sammi, who hasn't posted anything new on social media since she announced that she has forgiven her husband, William said, "She is fine, rest assured."
