Priority Pass holders traversing John F. Kennedy airport this holiday season will have a little reprieve thanks to its partnership with an expedited security service and lounge space.

VIPOne, a concierge-like service that whisks passengers through a private security lane and lounge at JFK's Terminal 1 for a fee, is now complimentary for Priority Pass members. Members can receive access to VIPOne's lounge and dedicated “Fast Track Security Lane” service from 8:00 a.m. to midnight daily. The entrance is located behind counters E and F next to the TSA checkpoint.

A valid same-day boarding pass for international travel is required.

Travelers who do not have the Priority Pass can pay $45 to use the service.

Terminal 1 — which is often considered one of the worst in the U.S. due to its bottlenecked checkpoints and a less-than-efficient TSA screening process — is home to a wide array of carriers such as Air France, Lufthansa, Swiss, and Turkish Airlines.

The Priority Pass network includes more than 1,300 lounges, spas, and restaurants located in some 600 airports all over the world. Even better, it’s perk included with many top-tier travel credit cards — such as the Platinum Card from American Express and Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit Card — so you might not even have to pay for the membership.

Members who subscribe to the program are granted access no matter what airline or class of service they’re flying.

Travelers in a hurry at JFK’s Terminal 1, especially those with Priority Pass access, should consider looking out for VIP One to speed through security. Even better, it’s complimentary for savvy travelers with a Priority Pass membership.
