Why Hillary Clinton Should Stay Off Twitter Right Now
On the heels of news that Hillary Clinton’s team used a special program known as BleachBit to delete her private emails and try to prevent their recovery, the hashtag #HillaryClintonSearchTerms is trending on Twitter.
Users are having fun at the Democratic nominee’s expense, tweeting fake and exaggerated examples of things that Clinton could have searched for.
Clinton has been constantly criticized for using a private email system run from a server in the basement of her home while she was secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.
Clinton famously tried to make light of the situation, joking that she thought servers are wiped clean “with a cloth” before eventually admitting she regrets the using the private server altogether. Hot sauce, pant suits and jabs are her wardrobe are popular topics on Twitter, while other users are more harsh, mocking a variety of scandals and allegations about the politician.
