Where to Go for a Family Friendly Holiday in Thailand

Thinking about your next family holiday and where to bring the kids? Hua Hin is about a 3-hour drive from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi international airport and is known for its sandy white beaches along with stunning mountainscape. While there are a number of well-known hotel brands in this town, there’s only one with an integrated water theme park that even comes with unlimited complimentary entry during your hotel stay!

Holiday Inn Resort Vana Nava recently celebrated its official grand opening and the resort boasts a wide range of facilities perfect for families with kids or for couples’ romantic getaways. While there are so many things to do within the resort itself, a 10-minute drive will bring you to Cicada Night Market, Bluport Shopping Mall, and Takiab Beach.

Here are a few things we absolutely loved about the resort.

1. Water Jungle Theme Park

The water theme park is right next to the hotel and boasts 20 world-class slides. Simply head down to the ground floor with your unique RFID wristband, which gives you access to the park and can be used to unlock rooms as well as make payments.

Suitable for all ages, the theme park has rides for everyone including a lazy pool, a wave pool, thrilling slides, and a number of kids’ corners. Just by the wave pool, is a bar with cool cabana vibes where they serve divine margheritas.

2. Infinity Pool

Sip on beers and cocktails while your kids can enjoy swimming and using the kids’ slide. If you’re an early riser, head to the pool in the morning to catch a gorgeous sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand.
