"Heartless," which was produced by Metro Boomin and Illangelo, is one of the two back-to-back singles that The Weeknd dropped last week.
While fans are speculating that a new album might be on its way, the award-winning musician has now unveiled the accompanying music video for "Heartless."
The cinematic visual, helmed by Anton Tammi, finds the Weeknd on a night of debauchery in Las Vegas with frequent collaborator Metro Boomin.
The pair are seen indulging themselves in Sin City's renowned Caesars Palace, where they gamble, drink and encounter a hallucinogenic frog.
"All this money and this pain got me heartless/Low life for life 'cause I'm heartless/Said I'm heartless/Tryna be a better man, but I'm heartless," the Weeknd confesses in the song.
"Heartless" arrives on the heels of "Blinding Lights," which made its premiere in a new commercial for Mercedes-Benz starring the Canadian musician.
The singles marked The Weeknd's first new material since he released his "My Dear Melancholy" EP in March 2018.
They will likely appear on the chart-topper's long-awaited fourth studio album, which will follow his 2016 "Starboy."
Details about the yet-untitled full-length are still scarce to this date, although The Weeknd cryptically tweeted that "some chapters are smaller than others. not this next one though..."
This month, the award-winning musician will also make his acting debut in the new film from the Safdie brothers, "Uncut Gems," alongside Adam Sandler, Idina Menzel, Lakeith Stanfield and NBA legend Kevin Garnett.
