This coming weekend brings us all kinds of end-of-year December fun from mainstay nightlife event ZoukOut to Christmas fairs and even a Santa Run.

The 17th edition of this iconic festival sees international DJ heavyweights such as Flume, Marshmello, Gui Boratto and Robin Schulz hitting the decks and spinning tunes. There will also be the usual bars and food stalls spread out across the Siloso Beach on Sentosa.

Santa’s Little Helper
This new Christmas show comes to Singapore’s shores direct from the UK with music, puppetry and storytelling for the whole family. The story of a 7-year-old boy who stumbled across Santa Claus coming down his chimney told in such theatrical style promises to entertain children aged 2 to 7 and their parents.

The Nutcracker
Singapore Dance Theatre brings The Nutcracker to the stage at the Esplanade Theatre taking audiences on the journey of young woman named Clara who goes on adventures as the Nutcracker doll comes alive and transforms into a handsome prince. Set to the world’s most iconic tunes, this ballet features breathtaking costumes and sets by local designer Aaron Yap.

A Merry Little Christmas Festival At Orchard
Hosted by Events Singapore, this international and family friendly festival features vendors selling everything from jewellery and ladies’ fashion, to art, wine, homeware and more.
Younger children can participate in art sessions, balloon artistry, face painting and a visit from Santa. There will also be live performances such as choir, a soothing duet and an Aussie rock band.

The First Sustainable Christmas Market
This market is all about promoting sustainability through its 23 exclusive vendors, who will feature ethical products, edible produce and craft available for purchase. There will also be exciting activities for kids including Belly Dancing for Kids, and a cooking demo of Grilled Chicken with Organic Salad.

Santa Run For Wishes
You can burn some calories while doing good this Christmas with the annual Santa Run for Wishes. Runners are offered the option of a 2km Fun Run or 5km Run while contributing to the Make-A-Wish Foundation that helps children with medical conditions. There is also festive fun at the Christmas Carnival and a chance to win prizes at game booths, or catch Santa Claus for a photo.
